Academic Excellence
A balanced curriculum combining inquiry, creativity, and critical thinking.
Our Middle School curriculum combines academic rigour with holistic development for learners aged 11 to 16.
The Middle Years Programme (MYP) at Bishop Mackenzie International School is designed to support students through some of the most transformative years of their lives. Grounded in the IB philosophy and aligned with the BMIS mission, the programme nurtures curious, compassionate, and internationally minded young people within a joyful learning environment that promotes well-being, sustainability, inclusivity, and growth as success. Through academically challenging and inquiry-driven learning experiences, students develop as critical thinkers, creative problem-solvers, communicators, critical thinkers, artists, athletes, and engaged community members. Advisory, service learning, electives, leadership opportunities, and co-curricular programmes work alongside the classroom experience to help students build confidence, independence, resilience, and a strong sense of belonging as they learn to make meaningful contributions to both local and global communities.
